This uncomplicated, very approachable red wine, with only 3 days of skin contact and six months of aging in stainless steel tanks, has a wonderful drinkability - a wine that pairs perfectly with many summer dishes! The wine presents a harmonious balance of fruitiness, subtle acidity, and minerality. In the glass, the Gordia Light Red reveals a bouquet reminiscent of red berries and a hint of meadow herbs. On the palate, it is fruity, with a lean body and pleasant tannins. This wine is a must for red wine enthusiasts who enjoy this wine color even in the summer. | The Gordia Light Red Cuvee is a versatile companion to a variety of dishes. It pairs particularly well with Mediterranean cuisine. Its fruitiness and pleasant acidity make it an ideal partner for grilled fish and seafood, pasta, pizza, minestrone, as well as prosciutto and salami. Serve the Light Red at a temperature of about 17 - 18°C to bring out its best qualities. The wine should be stored in a cool place, ideally in a wine fridge. The optimal storage temperature is between 8 and 10°C. To preserve its quality, the wine should be protected from direct sunlight and drastic temperature fluctuations. It can be aged for at least 5 years. |
