The Angel Rdeče is a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon and is in perfect harmony with the Vipava Valley. The Merlot gives the wine its body, while the Cabernet Sauvignon provides the elegance of the blend. The Merlot is harvested in the Šmihel Livišče vineyard, and the Cabernet Sauvignon in the Vogrsko Mali Dunaj vineyard. The wines are vinified separately. The Merlot usually remains in contact with the berry skins for about 17 days, while the Cabernet Sauvignon typically remains for 21 days. The Angel Rdeče Cuvée is aged for 25 months in 225-liter oak barrels. It is always bottled during the lowest lunar phases. |

Serve this wine at a temperature of around 18 degrees Celsius to fully bring out its flavors. It is excellent as an accompaniment to a main course. It is particularly recommended with mature cheese and hearty meat dishes. Store the Angel Rdeče Cuvée in a cooler, dark place to maintain its quality. The optimal storage temperature is between 12 and 15 degrees Celsius. Thanks to its excellent aging potential of at least 10 to 15 years, the wine develops even greater depth and complexity over time. Open the bottle about 2-3 hours before enjoying, or decant it to let the wine breathe and fully express its flavor spectrum. |

The Angel line breaks with conventions, offering wines sourced from various biodynamically managed vineyards. These wines, distinguished in blind tastings, are known for their elegance. The Marlon line, named after the Batič Brajda vineyard, is a pioneering project with resistant grape varieties grown without pesticides. This line represents the winery's commitment to sustainability and innovation. The Batič Winery, dedicated to the biodynamic philosophy, cultivates 225,000 vines on 45 hectares and produces approximately 75,000 liters of wine annually.
