| The Kramar Bohem 2018 is an excellent Friulano with 5% Malvazija content from the idyllic wine region of Goriška Brda in Slovenia - also known as the "Little Tuscany". This wine is characterized by its dark yellow color and a complex array of aromas. In the glass, it reveals notes of meadow herbs, some vanilla and marzipan, a dry texture, and prominent tannins. A food companion with delicate sherry tones thanks to aging in small wooden barrels. It unfolds a creamy and pleasant balance between fruitiness and tannins. The alcohol content of 12% provides a pleasant warmth and depth in the finish. |

| The Bohem 2018 is a versatile companion to a variety of dishes. It pairs particularly well with fish, meat, cheese, and soups. Its robust structure and fruity notes make it the ideal wine for a cozy dinner with friends or a festive occasion. Serve it at a temperature of 15°C to bring out its flavors fully. This wine has a shelf life of at least 10 to 15 years. Store it in a cool, dark place to preserve its quality. The wine is unfiltered and made with minimal sulfur, emphasizing its naturalness and purity. Before enjoying, we recommend opening the bottle 2 to 3 hours in advance and letting the wine breathe to unfold its full range of aromas. Alternatively, you can also decant it in a carafe. |

| The fertility of the soil, the color of the grapes during the harvest, a glass of wine by the fireplace, … It wasn't this romantic idea of life in nature that made them exchange their art for winemaking. In reality, it wasn't an exchange at all, but rather an expansion of their creative circle. In their hearts, in their souls, they both remained artists, their paintings, sculptures, and design objects can be found everywhere in and around the house. Barbana is located in the western part of Goriška Brda and was already mentioned in the 18th century as one of the best locations for winemaking in Brda. The winery is located directly on the Alpe Adria Trail. It cultivates a vineyard area of approximately 5 hectares, planted with the grape varieties Merlot, Sauvignon vert (Tokaj Friulano), Rebula, and Malvazija with love and care. In total, there are about 14,800 vines ranging from 9 to 67 years old. "Our wine philosophy is simple: We make it in the vineyard!" Therefore, the highest attention is dedicated to the work in the vineyard, where they constantly explore new possibilities, which are an important school for Matjaz and Katja. They use organic fertilizer and no herbicides. They mainly work according to the phases of the moon. Since 2021, the entire operation is ecologically certified. |
